SHINYANGA MAARIFA CENTRE NEW ADVISORY TEAM.
Shinyanga
maarifa centre have made an election to vote the Advisory committee
member who will be working together with maarifa centre management .
Selecting of Steering committee
The
Advisory committee is elected from within the membership to enhance
cor-donation of networking activities basically this will have a
Chairperson,Vice chairperson ,Secretary and other co-opted member .
The nomination of the leader
As
we know Shinyanga maarifa centre is hosted by government institution
which deals with forest called NAFRAC so the top leader(chairman) must
be from host organization and all members was agreed and other position
are from farmers , NGOs and CBOs include vice chairman,Secretary and
members so that was the agreement we made on meeting before election.the
meeting was held at Shinyanga Maarifa centre at the place called
Mazingira centre just around the centre
REVIEWING OF GUIDELINE AND PROCEDURES FOR ALIN FOCAL GROUP FOR THE NOMINATED LEADER
One
of agenda to our meeting before election was to review the focal group
guideline for upcoming leaders to know their role to ALIN and Maarifa
centre in general for reviewing the focal group procedures and we are
passed through the following area
- The role of host organization
- Voluntarism
- the Role of advisory Committee .
Those are some of key issues
which we are tried to brief them on how they can work with us without
problems like what the previous Advisory done for being omitted that
once your work with any NGOs the money is just around the corner we
are not expect such thing to happen again to our new team.

Shinyanga Maarifa Centre we would like to thanks and acknowledge the support for the following organization without their support our project would be impossible we are very happy to all of them
NAFRAC(Natural Forest Resource Management and Aggro forestry Centre.) for the support of making sure the centre are well organized and the services helps the centre include transport your hosting the centre in good way.
TaTEDO(Tanzania Traditional Energy and Development Organization ) for the support you giving us on some of the services provided by our centre were collaborating on traditional energy plant and making the capacity building for our local artisan on improved cooks stoves.
UMATI and AGAPE for the education and capacity building for the farmers who works with us as well as the ICTs student at our maarifa Centre.
